The reason is unfair decision by referee in favour of host south korean boxer named Jina Park.It was during semi-final match of Asian Games on September,2014. Sarita had lost her semi-final bout in controversial circumstances and had to be content with the bronze medal in the women's light weight (57-60kg) event The 32 year old Indian boxer lost 0-3 in a bout in which she totally dominated. Even commentators were shocked when decision was given.The new rules of International Amateur Boxing Association(IABA)states that decision of judges is final and cant be contested which leads to corruption and malpractices in such high profile boxing events.
Most astonishing was that she had to borrow 100$ as she had only 400$ with her. 500$ are required to protest.Her protest were turned down as IABA has "No challenge=Total corruption" policy.
Asiads are being held in south korea and boxer was also from south korea, judges cheated.
